INTEGRATIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY

Orthopedic Manual Therapy

Orthopedic manual therapy is often helpful for pain and stiffness in the neck, shoulders and upper back, as well as the low back, hips, knees, feet and ankles. It’s also a good fit for sprains, strains and overuse injuries, and for stiffness or weakness that lingers after surgery or injury. Because the body works as a connected whole, a problem in one area often traces back to a restriction somewhere else, and hands-on assessment helps find the true source.

Your first visit begins with a thorough evaluation of how you move, where you feel stuck and what may be driving your symptoms. Jenni then uses gentle, skilled hands-on techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain, and she teaches you simple exercises to practice at home so your progress continues between visits.

The goal is not just short-term relief, but helping your body move well and stay that way. Many people come to orthopedic manual therapy after other approaches haven’t resolved their pain, and combining precise hands-on work with exercise gives the body what it needs to change and hold that change.
